Brand direction and exploration
Trnd is a brand new product being built by the Penny AI team, and it needed a visual identity that it as fresh as it is. I conducted exercises with the Marketing team to arrive at our core essence: Trnd is Bold, Simple and Trustworthy.
I collaborated with a contractor to arrive at the logo, font and colours. All other collateral was created by me.
Website
Because of the nature of the product, the website needed 2 home pages: one dedicated to brands, and another for content creators.
Our objective was to have the site explain the product in the simplest way possible, and guide brands to request demos and creators to download the app.
I designed every page on Figma, and developed the website myself on Webflow.

Social media and video
Trnd is a product dedicated to connect influencers and brands. As such, it needed a strong social media presence. I collaborated with the content and social media managers to arrive at the look and feel of the Instagram posts. I created post templates – to give the social team autonomy to create their own posts – and edited several reels.
Tradeshow booth
Trnd announced its launch on the 2024 Shop Talk grade show in Las Vegas to thousands of people representing hundreds of eCommerce brands.
Together with the marketing team, I brainstormed what our presence would look like. The concept was allowing the visitors to experience the Trnd checkout experience and receive highly desirable giveaway products at home.
I designed the booth, signage, and apparel worn by the team on the floor. I also storyboarded, captured footage and provided creative direction for the editing of the videos displayed on the screens og the booth. Our booth was eye-catching while staying simple and bold, like the brand.
Onboarding experience
Onboarding creators is pivotal for Trnd. We wanted them to know how to use the tool and understand the value that it had. I designed onboarding emails and made templates for social media posts that were posted in Trnd’s educational Instagram account, so that creators could access the content in the environment that they already often frequent.
Juliana has that magic wand. She possesses a strategic mind that understands not just the human element of design but also the business purpose behind every design request. She takes your idea—whether half-baked, overthought, or bullet-point drafted—and brings it to life. She makes it shine, delivering just the right message visually and structurally, no matter the medium: web, print, social, or event materials. It would typically take an agency, an event team, and a team of web developers to deliver what Juliana does single-handedly in any medium she focuses on.”
Impact
Striking new brand
You can recognize Trnd from a mile away: The brand is concise, bold and memorable, while staying consistent over website, social media, decks and physical presence.
Climbing views
Building an audience starting from nothing is a challenge. Between our social media presence, in-person events, and SEO efforts, our views and brand awaraness climbed exponentially.
Full service design
I designed every piece of marketing collateral for Trnd, from social posts to event presence to a complex website. The Trnd brand is unmistakable, bold and consistent.
